Beacon of Hope

5 years ago, someone opened Pandora's box,  unleashing  a great evil that extinguished all light from the world. Few people remain, and the world is slowly dying. But the legend states that a small glimmer of light would remain in Pandora's Box, a light so powerful that it could be used to drive out the darkness. Many have gone searching for the box, none have returned. Like so many before you, you set out into the wasteland in search of Pandora's Box.

Against all odds you manage to find the box, as well as the legendary Beacon of Hope, the only thing capable of spreading the light over the entire world. To your dismay, many wicked creatures have stolen fragments of the light, leaving it too weak to drive back the darkness. Guided by what little light remains, you set out to defeat these creatures, restore the light to its full strength, and finally bring hope to the world. But you must hurry, as the light is fading fast, and if it goes out the world will be lost to darkness forever.
